17/01/2017: Spell check for drug names

Notice for all V3.2 users. To allow MiDatabank to spell check drug names, you need to copy an updated file into the MiDatabank 3 program files folder. Please follow the instructions below to enable drug name spell checking on your machines running MiDatabank:

  1. Download the updated PharmDict.dict file using the link below.
  2. Un-zip the file on your machine.
  3. Copy the PharmDict.dict file into the following folder on all machines running MiDatabank, overwriting the existing file:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\CoAcS\MiDatabank 3

    4. Launch MiEnquiryManager to check that drug names are now spell checked, and email           helpdesk@coacs.com if you have any problems.

17/01/2017: Notice for XP users

One centre using XP machines has reported an error on/after adding attachments to an enquiry. The error begins with the text: 'Could not load Dict File .\PharmDict.dict'. 

If you are using an XP machine and experience this error, please try the following solution:

  1. Download the updated PharmDict.dict file using the link above.
  2. Un-zip the file on your machine.
  3. Copy the file into the root of your attachment storage directory folder (you can find the location of this in MiAdministrator by selecting your centre and looking in the 'Configuration' page for the 'Attachment Storage Directory' text box)
  4. If you still receive the error after doing this, please email helpdesk@coacs.com
