June 2005: MiDatabank at UKMI
Conference in Coleraine, Northern Ireland
In the chair-persons annual report for UKMI in Summer 2005, Christine
Proudlove introduced MiDatabank as a key development for UKMI over the
next year. MiDatabank was also presented and demonstrated to the conference
in one of the traditional breakfast-time sessions.
About 60 delegates had the opportunity for hands-on experience of the
software at 2 workshops, which explored the main functions of the Enquiry
Manager and Administration modules. The software was generally very well
received, and we were pleased that it proved both stable and robust in
the course of some enthusiastic treatment. We would like to thank everyone
who gave us feedback: Several new features have been incorporated in
version 1.0 as a result.
