MiDatabank User Group Terms of Reference (Approved UKMI Exec 22/9/05)

The MiDatabank User Group is a working group of the United Kingdom Medicines Information Executive.

The group consists of representative(s) from each MI Region and members of CoAcS.

Its objectives are:

• To advise the UKMi Executive of matters relating to strategic development of MiDatabank and collaboration with CoAcS.

• To hold User Group meetings at least twice per year to plan the ongoing development of MiDatabank.

• To collate and evaluate users’ comments and feed back to UKMi Executive/CoAcS regarding the ongoing development of MiDatabank.

• To support MI staff using MiDatabank via liaison with Regional MI Centres.

• To provide users with up-to-date MiDatabank support materials and training resources, including a comprehensive user manual and an FAQ database.

• To ensure that MiDatabank updates are timely and distributed appropriately.

• To continue to work closely with CoAcS regarding MiDatabank and ensure joint working agreements are up-to-date.
