INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR MiDATABANK V3
MiDatabank consists of two windows applications:
- Enquiry Manager
- Administrator
Both applications run on PC workstations, and connect to a Microsoft SQL server database
running on the

Please note: MiDatabank version 3 requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or
Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Version 3 is more complex and resource-hungry
than version 2 and may require upgrading server or client hardware to provide
acceptable performance. This is especially true if any of the hardware is getting
old or of low specification.
MIGRATING FROM MiDATABANK V3.0 TO V3.1
If you are currently running version 3.0 of MiDatabank, then you should upgrade to version
3.1. This involves a minor but important upgrade to the database, and an upgrade to the client
application.
You can check your version of MiDatabank by opening the Enquiry Manager or the Admin
